Filtering in grids
Filtering in grids
Grids are a User Interface component that are present all around the Platform. They allow to present information in a tabular format. Examples of grids can be found in the "Features" or "Instances" screens. Grids not only display information, but allow some extra functionality like ordering or, more specifically, filtering.

The filtering option can work in two different ways:
- Clicking on the checkbox next to each item: This option individually removes elements from the displayed. You can combine this with the "Search..." text bar to locate individual elements and toggle the display state.
- Typing an element on the search bar and hitting "Enter": typing an element in the "Search..." bar and hitting the "Enter" key on your keyboard automatically applies the filter and excludes all elements that don't match the expression in the text box.
